Job Summary

This job works a 3 day on/3 day off rotation 7am-7pm. Initial training schedule would be Mon-Fri 8 hours per day.

Primary responsibilities of the Vial Operator are to keep the machines loaded at all times and complete routine checks on quality of the product. The operator also conducts maintenance checks, performs minor job changes on machines and assists the process technician role.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

+ Reads, comprehends, and follows written work instructions and prints.

+ Loads machines and checks vials at machine for defects.

+ Identifies and executes the appropriate mechanical adjustment on the machine to correct defects. Identifies and calls for assistance as needed.

+ Perform and assist with job changes

+ Keeps oil in machine's reservoirs.

+ Performs operator checks and communicates with packers as needed. Performs routine cleanings of inspection and packaging equipment.

+ Performs manual checks to ensure process is stable and centered.

+ Performs machine changeovers, after former changeovers and camera changeovers.

+ Demonstrates behavior that meets DWK Standards

+ Prints legibly on all paperwork

+ Performs other duties when required or requested

+ Understand DWK's Quality policy and relevant Quality Objectives.

+ Recognize his/her contribution to the effectiveness of the GMS including the benefits of improved performance.

+ Comprehend the impact or effect of not conforming with the QMS.

+ May perform any or all of these tasks depending upon work assignment.

+ Maintain work area in a clean and habitable condition. Observe all safety precautions, rules and regulations.


+ Six months continuous employment within the past year.

+ Must be at least 18 years of age

+ High School Diploma or equivalent

+ Previous Manufacturing experience preferred.
